Corpo D'Acqua (English translation: "Body of Water") is a short documentary set on a small quirky beach in Calabria, Italy, a region steeped in tradition. The film features women from Romania, Ireland, Venezuela, Peru, Italy, France, and Montreal, who share candid reflections and international perspectives on their relationships with their bodies. Their experiences are shaped by ancestral heritage, physical health, family histories, and evolving beauty standards. Through intimate and thought-provoking conversations, the documentary reveals how our bodies are more than physical entities—they are vessels of our values, aspirations, family legacies, traumas, fears, and dreams.
